Qualification
- Assistant Statistical Officer: As per Part-4 Rule-11(1) of the Uttar Pradesh Government Departments Statistical Service Rules, 2012, a candidate for direct recruitment to the post of Assistant Statistical Officer/Assistant Research Officer (Statistical) in the service must possess the following qualifications:- (i) Master’s degree in Mathematics or Mathematical Statistics or Commerce or Economics or Statistics from a University established by law in India or any qualification recognized by the Government as equivalent thereto. (Regarding equivalent qualification, Government Order No. 02/2024/1733973/47-Ka-2-2024, dated 24-06-2024 issued by Personnel Section-2, Government of Uttar Pradesh is enclosed (Annexure-1) for information of the candidates.) (ii) ‘O’ Level Diploma in Computers awarded by DOEACC Society or Diploma in Computer Science of at least one year duration from a recognized University/Institution. (iii) Knowledge of Hindi in Devanagari script.
- Assistant Research Officer: As per Part-4 Rule-12 of the Uttar Pradesh Government Departments Statistical Service Rules, 2012, other things being equal, preference in the matter of direct recruitment shall be given to such candidate who- (i) has served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of two years, or (ii) Possessed ‘B’ certificate of National Cadet Corps
Salary Details
- Assistant Statistical Officer: Rs. 9,300 – 34,800/-
- Assistant Research Officer: Rs. 35,400 – 1,12,400/-
