Qualification
- Assistant Forest Conservator: For direct recruitment to the post of Assistant Forest Guard, the candidate must have passed secondary education in India. It will be necessary to have a ‘Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Technology or Bachelor of Engineering degree’ or a degree recognized as equivalent thereto, with at least one of the following subjects from a University established by law.
- Longging Officer : For direct recruitment to the post of Logging Officer, the candidate must have passed secondary education in India. Must have passed a Bachelor of Science or equivalent level examination from a University established by law with at least one of the following subjects:-
- Forest Range Officer: For direct recruitment to the post of Forest Officer, the candidate must be a Forest Officer as per the law in India. A candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology or Engineering or a degree recognized as equivalent thereto, with at least one of the following subjects from a recognized University.

- Assistant Forest Conservator: Rs. 56100- 177500/-Per Month
- Longging Officer : Rs. 56100- 177500/-Per Month
- Forest Range Officer: Rs. 47600-151100/- Per Month
