Qualification
- Scientist – ‘B’: Master’s Degree in Marine Biology from a recognized University. Doctorate in Marine Biology from a recognized University.
- Scientist – ‘C: Master’s Degree in Botany with 03 years’ experience in research and development in an industrial or academic institution or scientific and technological organization in the relevant field after possessing the minimum qualifications required for the post.
- Scientist – ‘D’: Master’s degree in Limnology/ Aquatic Ecology/ Hydrology/ Environmental Science/ Natural Resource Management/ Planning (with specialization in Environmental Planning) or Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering with 07 years’ experience in the field of Environmental Pollution Control or Environmental Impact Assessment or Management of Hazardous Substances or Management of Biodiversity or Conservation and Survey.
- Scientist – ‘G’: Master’s Degree in Natural Science (Botany) from a recognized University / Institute with minimum 21 years of experience in floristic survey / research;

- Scientist – ‘B’: Rs. 56100- 177500/- Per Month
- Scientist – ‘C: Rs. 67700- 208700/- Per Month
- Scientist – ‘D’: Rs. 78800-209200/- Per Month
- Scientist – ‘G’: Rs.144200-218200/- Per Month
