Qualification
- Director (NDSA): Serving Officers of Central Water Engineering Service under Central Government: – holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre; OR Officer with thirteen years regular service in Group ‘A’ post in the Service and regular service of four years in the grade of Executive Engineer or equivalent including the service rendered in the non- functional Second grade; OR Officers with nine years regular service in the grade of Executive Engineer or equivalent including the regular service, if any, rendered in the non-functional Second grade for the Executive Engineer of equivalent in the level 12 (Rs. 78800– 209200) of 7th CPC. AND Possessing the following educational qualification and experience: Bachelor degree in Civil/ Mechanical/ Structural Engineering/ Geotechnical/ Instrumentation Engineering, or equivalent from a recognized University/Institute. (ii) Working experience preferably in the field of Dam Safety including dam-design, dam-rehabilitation and construction/ operation/ maintenance of Dams; elseexperience in the field of hydro- mechanical engineering, hydro-meteorology, hydrological observations, geo-technical investigation, instrumentation, planning, appraisal, monitoring of water resource projects.
- Deputy Director (NDSA): Serving Officers in Central Water Engineering Service:- holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre OR Officers holding the posts in JTS at level 10 (Rs. 56,100 – 1,77,500/-) of pay matrix with four years’ regular service rendered after appointment thereto, in the parent cadre; AND b. Possessing the following educational qualification and experience Bachelor degree in Civil/ Mechanical/ Structural Engineering/ Geotechnical/ Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent from a recognized University/Institute. Working experience preferably in the field of Dam Safety including dam-design, damrehabilitation and construction/ operation/ maintenance of Dams; else experience in the field of hydro- mechanical engineering, hydro-meteorology, hydrological observations, geo-technical investigation, instrumentation, planning, appraisal, monitoring of water resource projects
- Assistant Director (NDSA): Serving Officers in Central Water Engineering Service/ Central Water engineering under Central Government:- holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre; OR Officers with five years of regular service in the posts of Assistant Director Grade-II or Sub-Divisional Engineers in CWES (Group B) Services at pay level 7 (Rs. 44,900- 1,42,400/-) of 7th CPC pay matrix in their parent cadre; AND Possessing the following educational qualification and experience. Essential: Working experience preferably in the field of Dam Safety, including dam-design, dam-rehabilitation and construction/ operation/ maintenance of Dams; else experience in the field of hydro-mechanical engineering, hydro-meteorology, hydrological observations, geo-technical investigation, instrumentation, planning, appraisal and monitoring of water resource projects. Desirable: Bachelor degree in Civil/ Mechanical/ Structural Engineering/ Geotechnical/ Instrumentation Engineering, or equivalent from a recognised University/ Institute.
Salary Details
- Director (NDSA): Rs.1,23,000-2,15,900/- Per Month
- Deputy Director (NDSA): Rs. 67,700-2,08,700/- Per Month
- Assistant Director (NDSA): Rs. 56,100-1,77,500/- Per Month
