Qualification
- Special Educator (Pre-Primary to Class-V): 10+2 from recognized Board with at least 50% marks or Graduation in any stream from Recognized University. (iii) D.Ed. in Special Education from a Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) approved Institute and possess a valid RCI & CRR number. OR D.EI.Ed. with a recognized qualification (Certificate/Diploma) from a Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) approved Institution and possess a valid RCI & CRR Number. Six-month training of teaching in cross disability area in inclusive education (**).AND (iv) Pass in Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) duly conducted by H.P Board of School Education Dharamshala, District Kangra or any other Agency authorized by the Government. (**) If the proposed programme (cross disability/top up courses being developed by RCI as on in service training is not available same may be dropped from the qualification with a condition that those recruited with D.Ed./B.Ed. Special Education have to compulsory undergo aforesaid trảining as soon as same is conducted.
- Special Educator (VI-XII): Graduation in any stream from a recognized University with at least 50% marks. (ii) Bachelor of Education Degree (Special Education) from a Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) approved institution possess a valid RCI & CRR number. Graduation in any stream from a recognized University with at least 50% marks. (ii) Bachelor of Education Degree (Special Education) from a Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) approved institution possess a valid RCI & CRR number.
- Junior Office Assistant (Library): Should be 10+2 with 50% marks in any discipline from a recognised Board/University and one year Diploma in Library Science/Library and Information Science, OR Bachelor’s in Library Science/ Library and Information Science. Provided that the candidate must have passed Matriculation or 10+2 from any School/ Institution situated within Himachal Pradesh. Provided further that this condition shall not apply to bona fide Himachalis. Knowledge of customs, manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh.
- Steno Typist (Trainee): Should have passed 10+2 examination from a recognised Board of School Education. ii) Must possess the following speed in short-hand and typing on computers both languages i.e. English and Hindi at the time of initial appointment:- in Speed in Shorthand: English: Hindi: 60WPM 60WPM Speed in typing on Computer: English: 25WPM Hindi 25WPM Provided that at the time of initial recruitment the candidate shall have to pass shorthand test in either of the language i.e. in Hindi or English at the prescribed speed: Provided further that the candidates will have to pass typing test in both the languages at the time of initial recruitment: Provided further that the incumbent having passed shorthand in one language,at the time of intial recruitment at the prescribed speed, shall have to pass the shorthand test in second language within a period of three years from the date of appointment. The appointment letter of such candidate who does not qualify the shorthand test in second language shall contain the specific condition that he shall have to pass the test in shorthand in second language within a period of three years and if he qualifies the test in shorthand test in second language within a period of three years he will be eligible to draw his annual increment from due dates and the candidate who qualifies the said test after three years will be eligible to draw first increment only from the date of qualifying the prescribed test.
