Qualification
- Dredge Cadets: Should have completed Diploma in Nautical Science (DNS) from Institutes approved by D.G.Shipping
- Trainee Marine Engineers: Should have completed 4 years degree in Marine Engineering from any IMU affiliated colleges/Institutes approved by D.G. Shipping/ recognised by any State or Central Government or the AICTE. (OR) Should have completed Graduate Marine Engineering from a recognised university.
- Near Coastal Voyage (Trainees): Minimum X class pass from recognised Education Board and Pre-Sea G.P rating course and passed the Exit examination approved by D.G. Shipping with minimum 60% aggregate marks.
- Trainee Electrical Officer: Should have completed 4 years Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering or Electronics & Telecommunication/ Communication Engineering or Electronics & Instrumentation recognised by any State or Central Government or the AICTE. Should have completed 04 months Electro Technical Officer course from DG Shipping approved Institute.
Salary Details
- Dredge Cadets: Rs. 15,000/-Per Month
- Trainee Marine Engineers: Rsth. 25,000/-Per Mon
- Near Coastal Voyage (Trainees): Rs. 10,000/-Per Month
- Trainee Electrical Officer: Rs. 25,000/-Per Month
