Here are 9 things to keep in mind when using an ATM card
- When using an ATM card at an ATM or POS machine, keep the keypad covered by hand. Doing so will prevent anyone from seeing your password.
- Other than that don’t share your PIN details with anyone.
- No customer should make the mistake of writing on their PIN number card.
- Do not reply to text messages, emails or calls asking for card details or PIN numbers.
- Apart from this, don’t use your birth date, phone number or account number like the PIN of the card.
- Also, handle the receipt of your transaction or dispose of it immediately.
- Check the spy camera before starting the transaction.
- Be aware of tampering with the keypad when using an ATM or POS machine.
- Make sure your phone number is linked to an account that receives transaction alerts.
- Don’t give out personal details to anyone
