Matter of celebrating Independence Day, 15th August, 2020

Every year national holidays are celebrated with great pomp and fervor all over the country. This year too, Independence Day, 15th August 2020 will be celebrated with the same grandeur and enthusiasm. Currently, the epidemic of the novel coronavirus (Covid - 19) is widespread. Independence Day 2020 should not be celebrated in large numbers and should be celebrated at the state level, district level, taluka level and gram panchayats through maximum use of technology. With regard to the celebration of the next Independence Day, 15th August 2020, the above mentioned limitations and preventive measures should be taken into consideration.
3. State level, district level, taluka level and gram panchayats will have to celebrate Independence Day 2020 as given below. State Level
(1) The National Flag will be hoisted by the Hon'ble Chief Minister at the State Capital Gandhinagar (06:00 hrs); The national anthem will be played; Guards of Honor will be provided by the police including Para Military Force, Home Guard, NCC, Scouts etc .; Will be inaugurated by Hon'ble Chief Minister; The national anthem will be sung.
(2) Not to collect more people considering the epidemic of COVID 19. Standards like social distance, wearing mask etc. have to be followed.
(3) Invite health workers who have served to prevent the epidemic of COVID-19, such as doctors, health workers, sanitation workers, etc., as well as those who have recovered from a severe situation against corona.
»The national flag will be hoisted at the district headquarters by the Hon'ble Minister, District Collector at the district level along with the matters mentioned above at the district level (after 06:00 hours); The national anthem will be played; Will be paraded by police forces, home guards, NCC scouts, etc .;

Such persons should be honored with a shawl / certificate by the hand of the chief guest. In addition to this, to invite distinguished artists / athletes / dignitaries of the district who have made special contributions in any other field.
(4) A copy of the minute-to-minute program in this regard shall be accompanied by the program as planned.
