JioFiber was recently announced during the AGM. This announcement has caused a stir in the Indian broadband market. Even though plans have not been announced by Reliance Jio yet, rival companies are making every effort to keep hold of the customers in every way. In this connection, several attempts are also being made by the government telecom company BSNL. The company has introduced a new offer for its broadband users.
BSNL initially started offering Amazon Prime to those subscribers who buy a monthly plan of Rs 745 or more. But the company later changed the offer and told the users that even in broadband plans of Rs 499 or below, customers would get Amazon Prime subscription even though these would include certain conditions.
BSNL has changed the cashback scheme of its broadband plans. Amazon Prime membership is now offered here. BSNL is offering 25% cashback on Broadband plans. These plans include DSL, Bharat Fiber and BBoWiFi. New or old BSNL customers who buy broadband plans below Rs 900 will get cashback offer and Amazon Prime membership. They also include plans below Rs 499.
BSNL is offering 15 per cent cashback in plan below Rs 499, 20 per cent cashback on Rs 499 to Rs 900 plan and 25 per cent cashback on plan above Rs 900. In this case, customers who take bean plans for 12 months ie one year will get cashback offer and if customers take the same plan as mentioned above then they will get Amazon Prime membership free.
That is, the total subscribers who take broadband for one year will get 25 percent cashback and Amazon Prime membership free with a price of Rs 999. Amazon Prime membership provides early access to Amazon Prime Video, Amazon Music, fast product shipping and deals.
